This year’s winners, known as Innovation Fellows, developed business ideas using another businesses’ ‘waste’.
The Innovation Fellows received prizes valued up to $13,500, and participate in a three-part accelerator program to develop their ideas.

2022 Event Details
The 2022 Opening Material Supplier Pitch Event was held on virtually February 28th.
The 7th Annual [RE]verse Pitch Competition continued through August where the Innovation Fellows took part in a four-month accelerator program to develop their ideas.
During the virtual accelerator program, each team will receive mentorship, training, and community support while they further develop their circular business idea.
The accelerator will culminate in the teams presenting these ideas to a cohort of investors as part of the City’s 2nd Annual Circular Austin showcase on August 30, 2022.
